Usually I don't pay much attention to the end of the year, or decade, lists published by the big dogs over at Rolling Stone, Paste, Spin and all those other national music magazines. However, Rolling Stone polled some big name musicians and asked them for their favorite songs and albums of the decade and the results were interesting.

The list of rocks stars polled includes Lars Ulrich (he put Chinese Democracy on his list), Tom Morello (he put himself on his list) as well as a few locals in Isaac Brock and Jeff Ament. You probably can't get much musical insight into Modest Mouse or Pearl Jam from reading these lists but that doesn't mean you won't learn a think or two about what some of Seattle's biggest rock stars have been listening to for the past 10 years.

For example, did you know Isaac Brock enjoys Rammstein and Clipse? Me neither. I also found out that Jeff Ament digs Sigur Ros and Rufus Wainwright. Cool stuff.
